Hi! I'm blogging from our friend Mark's computer today in Virginia Beach, VA. I apologize in advance for typos because I can barely see the screen. It's seriously 2 1/2 feet away from me and I'm no good on the computer these days without my glasses.


Things are great. We had a pretty uneventful car ride up here. It was about 8 hours and the poor dog stressed herself out so badly in the car (she has really bad car anxiety) that she basically passed out when we got here. 


We're actually staying with one of Nick's good friends Mark from the Naval Academy, and his girlfriend Kim is visiting too. Today we're going to a BBQ in a bit and the place has a fenced-in yard so we're taking Maggie with us to play with the other dog. Then tonight is the Blink182 concert at Verizon Amphitheater. It should be fun...we'll definitely be rocking it old school (since it's all older music, nothing new) and it'll be a blast I'm sure since it's going to be outside. We're taking a bunch of blankets to hang out on. The weather is perfect. Hopefully cool enough there won't be any bugs but definitely not too cold. Maybe early 50's. Nice fall weather.
